Q: Are your products really soy free & gluten free?

A: YES! We do not add soy or gluten to our products. Although, keep in mind, because we produce in a home kitchen, there could be cross-contact. If you are highly allergic, please don't purchase our products. 💜

Q: How long are your candies good for?

A: This isn't really a simple answer as heat and/or humidity are sugar's archnemisis. 🫣 Hard candies, unopened, are best by one year after the date on the package. Once opened, the candy can last another six months or longer, depending on how well it's sealed & the environment it's in. Candy does best in a cool, dark, dry place when not being enjoyed. 😊 Nut brittles are best by six months from the date on the package. Again, after opened, please take care how you store your brittle. 💚

Q: Can I have my candy order shipped?

A: Currently, we are Local Pickup Only. You can find us at various festivals and markets around Elgin, Texas or at one of our shops. 😍 Please check our Event Calendar to see where we’ll be next! 😊 Our shops are also listed on the Event Calendar page. Note for our out-of-state friends: While we can’t ship candy yet, our Mama T's merch ships worldwide! You can still grab an item you love to support our small company from anywhere. 🥰

Q: How do I pick up my order?

A: It’s easy! Browse the shop, add your favorites to the cart, and during checkout, use the "Leave a message for Mama T's Candies" box at the bottom of the checkout page to tell us which upcoming market or festival you’ll be attending. We’ll have your order packed and ready for you at the booth!

A: The Beta T’s are our inner circle of supporters helping us build our commercial candy lab from the ground up. We have two ways to get involved:

😍The Samples: Exclusive pickups (usually every 6 weeks) featuring 1–3 experimental flavors.

✨The Goods: Special members-only flavors, stickers, and limited-run merch.

Q: Can I have my Beta T candy samples shipped?
A: Not yet! 🫣 Due to Texas Cottage Food laws, we can only offer physical candy samples for local pickup in the East Austin/Elgin metro area. Since we are currently an artisanal home operation and not a commercial kitchen, shipping for food items isn't an option. 🤓 However, all our merch ships worldwide!

Q: When do I get my Beta T samples?
A: We aim for a tester drop approximately every 6 weeks. Because I am only one human and the lab gets incredibly busy during the holidays, some drops might shift to every 7 or 8 weeks. 🎄We appreciate your patience as we grow! 🤗
